Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

When I picked up our breakfast order, I thought it was a bit pricey for a few bacon egg and cheese sandwiches. It wasn't until hours later, after we had to leave Mother's Day dinner early so I could puke in the parking lot, after my husband and I both sit here on our coach, like a crumpled mass of human laundry and after our friend, who also ate the sandwich, missed his first day at his new job that I realized the true, awful price of a jamie Hollander breakfast sandwich...and it is NOT worth it my friends, not worth it!

I usually go to Jamie Hollander for lunch. My favorite sandwiches are the turkey sandwich on the board and the filet mignon cheesesteak. Their breakfast sandwiches are unbelievably good too, and they serve them all day. I have not tried lots of their prepared items, but their chicken salad is very, very good. Around lunch time there is usually a wait, so it's a good idea to call ahead and take your order to go. I love this place and I come here all the time.

There was a time that I worked right across the street, and we would order at least 2-3 times a week for lunch. A bit on the pricey side, but really one of the only places that deliver fresh and healthy food in New Hope. Maybe even the only?? We were pretty obsessed with their smoothies and salads, and regularly checked the specials on the website. Sams green smoothie...yum. Awesome salad combinations as well. Oh and the veggie burger, YUM! I would eat there so much more if prices were a little on the lower side.

I first went to the market to purchase stuff for a Sunday brunch. I went because they claim to be Gourmet. There was a lot of prepared foods but as far as last minute stuff to buy on the shelves, eh, the selection was OK and the salad bar on the weak side. Perhaps I'm spoiled coming from Manhattan where there's a tremendous amount of variety. But I had high expectations given reviews and that so few places advertise themselves as a specialty food store, which in my opinion the area lacks. After my visit there I was told they're really known for their prepared stuff. Last minute I had to cater an event for a b'day party so I went with them knowing it could be pricey but I had no time to do extensive research. I ordered sandwiches for 17, large green salad, orzo with feta and it comes with (awesome) homemade potato chips and a very large platter of assorted cookies. Each person literally gets one sandwich (2 halves) and they were good, not excellent. The orzo was mediocre. I could've used far, far less cookies and more emphasis put into the other food. All of this cost over $350 and utensils aren't even included. This was an easy test to see if I liked the quality of this place and I unfortunately was let down. I don't mind spending money when it's worth it. Next time I would try catering from Wegmans for less money and equally good quality.

Jamie Hollander made our wedding. And I don't mean they just made amazing food (which also they did and I'll get to), but they ran that wedding from start to finish. When you go with JH, you are not just booking a chef and some servers to heat-up and hand-out your food. You are trusting your entire event - design recommendations, scheduling, set-up (of EVERYTHING), time-keeping, bar-tending, monitoring, bride-fluffing, cake serving - everything that needs doing at wedding - to JH and their professional, friendly staff. And our wedding could not have been in better hands. Kate knows what she's doing and could run any wedding at any location with any group of people. When she steps in and tells you how and why she is going to place this table here, or end cocktail hour at this point, you know she backs it up with experience. You make hundreds of decisions when you plan a wedding that when you get to the day and Kate is there being the boss, you are just relieved and can be assured that all of your hard work will be executed, and you can focus on getting married and having a good time. She thinks of everything. And the food! Oh, the food. Kate and team put together the perfect menu for us knowing our budget and the number of guests we were having. The appetizers were to die for, especially the shrimp and grits. And the dinner was just fantastic. You have not had a sweet potato until you have the JH sweet potato with sweet chili glaze. And I can't remember the last time I said, wow the chicken was so good, as chicken is usually just kind of, well, chicken. Not JH chicken - tender and juicy with a little crunch and some buttery sauce. I was thrilled when my parents said there was a tray left the next day. The food on my wedding day - cooked in a make-shift kitchen behind a tent - was just as good as the day we tasted the whole thing in the JH store. JH is more than catering. You cannot go wrong here.

This time last year my family booked Jamie Hollander to cater our event. From the moment the food was set out our guests could not stop raving over the hors d'oeuvres, sandwiches, fruit platter, etc. For those of you sensing a 'but' coming on... Be very aware of the attitude of the two main planners; they took extremely long to call us back. It was so off-putting we almost chose another caterer. However, because Jamie Hollander came so highly recommended, we called back again and **finally** received a response! But even after we booked, we still felt like we were being ignored. I can understand a business -- especially a caterer -- being busy, but there comes a time when the OWNER needs to step in when his employees are making his services look unreliable. All in all, my mother's persistence paid off and everything went off without a hitch.

I had stopped in at Jamie's around Thanksgiving to pick up dessert for my hosts at dinner. The Red Velvet Cake, although about $30.00 for a 6" cake, was a big hit, as well as the individual pumpkin pies. They have true gourmet specialty items, and a freezer full of home-made meals ready to pick up and heat at home. My friend and I went in early (11:00) for lunch on Thursday. They let you pick out your choices to put together a plate lunch. I had salmon, haricots verts and mashed potatoes. My friend had the sliced beef with caramelized onions on brioche with chips. We did have to wait about 20 minutes for our dishes to be delivered to our table, the place was empty, so I did not understand the delay, but the meal was worth the wait. Paper plates, and plastic utensils, but it is really more set up for carry-out, so that should not be taken as a complaint. I would recommend the desserts highly, but it is a good idea to order ahead, as the display items sell out fast.

We ordered a Mediterranean platter over the weekend. Besides looking like it was thrown together quickly, when we got it home we realized that it didn't have the stuffed grape leaves we love. My wife called and we were told that they sometimes substitute in artichokes. This would have been nice to know before we picked it up. The worse part that prompts this review is that when we told them we were disappointed by this, they took our number and told my wife they would call back with a way to remedy this bait and switch, yet we never heard from them. We can forgive dry chicken which we had the one prior time we used them, and the thrown together platter, but we resent having our order changed without notification and the nonexistent customer service. We will go to Giant or BJs next time for better service and price.

We devoured some delicious sandwiches here while we were vacationing in the area. My husband chose a salad that was fabulous too. We got everything take-out as our hosts informed us that sometimes they are a little slow. We called ahead of time. I think good food takes time to prepare. I got a chance to enter the establishment when we picked up the food. I was impressed by their shelves of gourmet products and cookbooks in the front of the store. They seem to carry a lot of hard-to-find stuff. The seating was sparse at least in the front (it is a big space so I think there may have been more seating towards the back but I can't be sure). The front seating consisted of high tables and stools (not exactly kid-friendly but that's ok). Our guests also ordered dessert -- mini Chocolate Damnations to split. Very rich and delicious. Even half a mini one was more than I could eat at once! I'd love to come back if we visit the area again!

Jamie's is easily the best lunch place in New Hope. Always a crowd during lunch so you may have to deal with occasional obnoxious loud-talking real estate people, gym-next-door-milfs, and New Hope idle-rich. Awesome service and the very best quality food makes it more than worth it. If you're entertaining and want to pass off your "home made" food as four star cuisine, this is your place for take-out. And for steak connoisseurs, the dry-aged steak here blows the doors off anything you can get at Wegmans (which is the only other local option for the dry-aged stuff). 12/1/12 UPDATE: It's a sad day. Jamie no longer sells the dry-aged ribeye. "It's expensive and a slow mover". I would expect to hear that from the manager at Giant or Super Fresh...but from Jamie? A "gourmet" food store? This is disappointing. I have to take back the 5th star.

Not sure why this is so great. Ordered some veg/fruit for the holidays, wasn't any better than supermarket fare. They do have a great egg breakfast sandwich. Got some cheeses, just ok nothing special. Was in there today, it was empty. Be careful if you order a latte you get about 4oz. that is a large for $4.00. No Thanks
